Ali Day 1
So I was super tired when my alarm clock went off this morning at 5:45 AM since I'm still recuperating from my St Louis trip, but I managed to make it through day 1 of our 30 day shred. It was a pretty intense workout, Jillian Michaels does not mess around, but it was doable. I think what saved me was knowing it's only 20 minutes so I just kept telling myself that to get me though day one. It also helped that Jillian and her 2 trainers that are on the dvd with her have the flattest stomachs I've ever seen in my life, so that definitely kept me motivated, lol. Maybe at the end of the 30 days my beer belly will look like theirs. I'm a little sore in my shoulders from the push ups and the inside of my thighs hurt but other than that I think I'm good to go for day 2 tomorrow morning at the crack of dawn. We did our before pics and our weigh in. Rich is 189lbs and I am 134.5lbs. We bought a tape measure today so tomorrow morning we will record our measurements to compare in 30 days. I was 129lbs on my wedding day and if this shred doesn't get me back there then I give up. Well time to finish watching Real Housewives of New Jersey so I can get to bed and be ready for day 2.
