Today was probably one of the easiest days doing the shred. We didn't have to wake up early and we didn't wait until the end of the day to do the shred either. We dropped Paige for her nap at 11:00 this morning and I know Ali was planning on taking a nap too. I knew that if we waited we would end up skipping the workout like we did the previous weekend. So as soon as Paige was in her crib I turned on the DVD and changed into my workout clothes. Ali asked for one final smoke break before she beat herself up with the shred and once everyone was happy we jumped right into the workout. We know the routine like the back of our hand now so we decided to try a different routine for today's workout. Instead of listening to Jillian, we turned on Rihanna's playlist and listened to that in the background. We would watch for Jillian to change exercises and we already knew what to do each time.
The workout was over before we knew it because we were singing to each song while we were working out. We were joking about the concert and how we were going to have flashbacks of the workout while we were at the concert. I think all of the focus was taken away from the workout so we finished everything without even realizing we were working out. Then on top of it we both had more energy after the workout than we did before the workout.
The best part of this whole experience is seeing the difference in our bodies. My wife's stomach looks awesome! And this is only after 11 days of working out. I can't imagine what we are going to look like after the entire 30 days are completed.
